• Position the capsule correctly: For best results, position the mic capsule just behind the corner of the mouth, off to the side rather than directly in front. This reduces plosives (hard P and B sounds) and breath noise while still capturing clear, natural voice. The flexible boom holds its shape once bent, so take a moment to get the placement right before the speaker goes on stage.
• Use the dual-ear adapter for active speakers: The included dual-ear wrap-around adapter adds a second point of contact to keep the mic stable during energetic movement. • Check gain structure before going live: The SE-11 has a sensitivity of -67dB, which is typical for condenser headset mics. Set your wireless transmitter gain so the input level peaks in a healthy range during normal speaking or singing, then set your receiver and mixer levels accordingly. Avoid adjusting the transmitter gain too high, as the capsule can handle up to 115dB SPL but clipping at the transmitter input will degrade sound quality.
