The THOR Hammer SE-9 (single ear) headset microphone is a high performance microphone that features a Danish omnidirectional condenser capsule. Carefully tuned for clear, articulation of both male and female voices, these headset microphones are perfect for houses of worship, presenters, theater and broadcast. The mic system features a lightweight, flexible boom, an optional, included wrap-around headband for dual-ear security, and a detachable, easy-to-replace cable.

Sturdy, but light

Received the mic, took a bit to get into the gator box it is in. Easy to put together as our pastor likes the double ear loop on the head worn mics. Did a sound check, did have to increase the volume to get the appropriate volume. Sound was very good. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy but light head worn mic setup that is under $300.00.

Headache Free - it just works

These have quickly become our "standard issue equipment" across all of our church campuses. They're not always the very best sounding mic, but they never sound bad, they're much less prone to feedback, and aren't particularly sensitive to placement location on the face.

In short, they're the mic we throw on people when we just need it to work, and it always delivers.

Now if only they could figure out a case that allows the mic to be stored without disassembly or bending...

Excellent product, great service!!

Almost prefect

Sound wise it's a great headset. It's the second I've purchased for that reason. However it's really a single earpiece design that can be adapted into a headset. It's just a pity the way the single earpiece connects to the headset wasn't a bit more refined.
Surprised Thor haven't realised a mark 2 version or a straight up two version.
