The THOR Shadow SH20 is a dual-ear headset microphone built for environments where audio quality matters and visibility of the mic does not. The name says it all - this microphone is designed to stay out of the way while doing its job exceptionally well. With a 3 mm omnidirectional capsule mounted on a thin 0.7 mm boom arm, the SH20 sits close to the corner of the mouth without being the first thing an audience notices on stage or on camera.
The headset is extremely lightweight at just 5 grams without the cable, which makes a real difference for speakers, teachers, and performers who wear a mic for extended periods. The dual-ear design means the frame wraps around both ears and rests on the back of the neck, distributing the weight and keeping the mic stable even during active movement. Compatibility Guidance
The SH20-BR-TA4F uses a TA4F connector, which is the standard four-pin mini XLR connector found on Shure wireless bodypack transmitters including popular systems in the BLX, GLXD, SLX-D, ULX-D, Axient and QLX-D series. If your wireless system uses Shure bodypacks, this version is very likely the correct one to order - but it is always worth verifying your specific transmitter model before purchasing.
If your wireless system uses a different connector - such as a Sennheiser-style 3.5 mm locking connector, or a LEMO connector - THOR offers the SH20 in MicroDot cable configurations with the appropriate adapter for your system, or hardwired options. The MicroDot system uses a small threaded connector at the headset end and then attaches to a separate adapter that terminates in the connector your transmitter requires.
