Designed for high-capacity connectivity, the Ace Backstage Super Pocket features horizontal panel brackets that significantly increase the number of audio, video, and data connections. It also includes an isolated raceway for two dual-gang AC receptacles. Though it shares the same footprint as the Full Pocket, this design offers nearly three times the panel capacity.
The Super Pocket System is made up of three sub-assemblies, enabling just-in-time delivery during different construction phases. Ordering model 132 provides the 6” deep Back Box Pocket Body with pre-installed panel brackets, plus the unique bezel and blind-hinged lid assembly that securely mates with the pocket body. This setup allows for connector termination, testing, and installation during construction, prior to the finished floor installation. CONNECTRIX™ Panels and Connectors complete the system as the final sub-assembly.
CONNECTRIX Compatibility
CONNECTRIX panels, designed for greater capacity than standard electrical gang panels, perfectly fit the horizontal brackets of the Super Pocket. When ordered together, ACE guarantees proper placement of connectors to ensure seamless termination, bezel alignment, and lid clearance.
Lid Options & Flexibility
The modular, interchangeable lids can be swapped to customize the cable exit size—from the standard 3/8” slot to 3/4” or 1” openings for larger cables (ML). Spring-loaded hinges facilitate easy lid updates, with options for carpet installation (CL) or locking mechanisms (LL) to secure the lid. All Super Pockets include a fixed slot closure bar to block the cable exit when not in use.
Rugged Construction
Constructed from welded steel and engineered for durability, the Super Stage Pocket has been load tested to support 750 lbs without permanent deflection when installed as a complete system.
Framed Bezel Option
Ideal for solid surface floor installations, the Flush Flange Full Pocket (132SLBK-FF) features an angled bezel edge that tapers to sit nearly flush with wood, concrete, or tile floors. Standard ACE pockets come with a 1/8” thick flange suitable for most applications.
