Designed for maximum capacity, the Ace Backstage Super Double Wide Stage Pocket features horizontal panel brackets that offer twice the capacity of the similarly sized Double Wide Stage Pocket. Connectivity is securely protected beneath a heavy-duty 16” lid, with cables neatly routed through a cable way slot onto the floor. Two hinged slot closure devices attached to the bezel can be set to block the cable exit when the pocket is not in use.
The Super Double Wide Pocket System includes three sub-assemblies, enabling just-in-time delivery at various stages of construction. Ordering the 134 model provides both the 6” deep Back Box Pocket Body with installed panel brackets and the unique Bezel with blind-hinged Lid Assembly that fits seamlessly with the Pocket Body. Each sub-assembly can also be ordered separately for precise scheduling.
CONNECTRIX Compatibility
CONNECTRIX™ Panels and Connectors form the final sub-assembly, offering customization with up to 50 isolated connectors to complete this UL-listed Stage Pocket System. These panels are designed for greater capacity than standard electrical gang plates and fit perfectly on the horizontal brackets. ACE guarantees proper connector placement for termination, bezel alignment, and lid clearance specific to the Super Double Wide Pocket design.
Lid Options & Flexibility
Modular, interchangeable lids allow customization of the standard 3/8” cable exit, which can be expanded to 3/4” or 1” openings to accommodate larger cable bundles (ML). Spring-loaded hinges make lid swaps easy, with options for carpet installation (CL) or locking mechanisms (LL) for added security.
Rugged Construction
Constructed from welded steel and engineered for durability, the Super Double Wide Stage Pocket supports critical stage loads and has been load tested to 750 lbs without permanent deflection when installed as a complete system.
Framed Bezel Option
Ideal for solid surface flooring, the Flush Flange Super Double Wide Pocket (134SLBK-FF) features a tapered bezel edge that sits nearly flush with wood, concrete, or tile floors. Standard ACE pockets come with a 1/8” thick flange suitable for most applications.
