The Ace Backstage Half Stage Pocket features a slanted panel design that positions connectors upright, offering added protection against floor debris. Its large open access area allows connector panels to be fully terminated prior to installation, for efficient setup.
Connectivity & Cable Management
Connectivity is securely housed beneath the Half Pocket lid, with cables neatly routed through a 3/8” cable way slot onto the stage floor. A unique Slot Closure device can seal the cable exit when the pocket is not in use, keeping the interior clean and protected.
Rugged Construction
Constructed from welded steel and engineered for strength, the Half Stage Pocket has been load tested to support up to 1000 lbs without permanent deflection. The hinged lid can be removed during installation to provide extra space for panel mounting.
Lid Options & Flexibility
Half Pockets can be customized with modular lids for carpet installations (CL) or locking mechanisms (LL). These lids can be swapped on-site or specified at order by replacing the (SL) in the model number. Modular lid options do not affect order lead time.
CONNECTRIX Compatibility
Designed to work with CONNECTRIX™ panels, the Half Pocket supports greater capacity than standard electrical gang panels and accommodates both high-voltage AC and low-voltage AV connections in one enclosure. Isolated CONNECTRIX connectors provide easy access for termination and ensure proper lid clearance. ACE guarantees correct connection placement when pockets and CONNECTRIX panels/connectors are ordered together.
Framed Bezel Option
For solid surface floor installations, the Flush Flange Half Pocket (123SLBK-FF) features an angled bezel that tapers to sit nearly flush with wood, concrete, or other finished floors. Standard ACE pockets include a 1/8” thick flange, suitable for typical carpet or solid surface applications that do not require customization.
