The Ace Backstage Double Wide Stage Pocket features a unique slanted panel design that positions connectors upright, helping to prevent debris from collecting inside and providing additional protection on busy stage floors. With double the panel capacity of the Full Pocket, the Double Wide also includes an open-access interior that allows for connector panel termination prior to installation, streamlining setup.
Connectivity & Cable Management
All connections are safely housed beneath a sturdy lid, while cables exit neatly onto the stage through a standard 3/8” cable slot. When not in use, a set of custom Slot Closures seals off the cable exit to keep the pocket clean and secure.
Lid Options & Flexibility
Hinged lids are removable during installation, providing extra clearance for easier panel mounting. Available in two modular lengths, lids can be swapped on-site to accommodate specific needs. Optional lid upgrades allow for larger cable exits (3/4” or 1”), carpet compatibility (CL lids), or locking mechanisms (LL lids) for added security.
CONNECTRIX Compatibility
Designed for use with Ace’s CONNECTRIX™ panel system, the Double Wide Stage Pocket supports high-density AV and electrical integration in a single enclosure. CONNECTRIX panels offer greater capacity than standard electrical gang plates and ensure proper alignment for lid clearance. When CONNECTRIX panels and connectors are ordered with the pocket, ACE guarantees precise placement and compatibility.
Rugged Construction
Built from welded steel and engineered for durability, the Double Wide Pocket is load-tested to 750 lbs with no permanent deflection—making it ideal for high-traffic, heavy-duty stage environments.
Flush Flange Bezel Option
For installations in solid surface flooring (such as hardwood or concrete), the Flush Flange model (124SLBK-FF) includes a tapered bezel edge that sits nearly flush with the floor. Standard models feature a 1/8” flange, suitable for both carpet and typical solid surface applications where customization isn’t required.
