The WyreStorm EX-70-H2C is a high-performance video distribution solution designed for both residential home theaters and multi-media conference halls, capable of extending full 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and 18Gbps signals up to 70m (230ft) over a single Cat6/6a cable. It includes an HDMI OUT loop-out on the TX unit for a local monitor, and features essential functionalities like bi-direction IR pass-through for remote device control, bi-direction POC (Power over Cable) for flexible power delivery, and ARC (Audio Return Channel) support with an S/PDIF audio de-embedding port, all packaged in a compact, durable steel chassis.
Features
• EDID Management: Supports EDID control via a switch on the TX unit, allowing the user to select from fixed resolutions (1080P@60Hz or 4K@60Hz) or copy the EDID from either the TX (source) or RX (display) unit for guaranteed compatibility.
• ARC Switch: The RX unit includes a side switch to select between ARC audio (returning audio from the TV) or De-embed audio (extracting audio from the extended source signal).
• Audio Format Support: Supports a wide range of high-definition audio formats up to 7.1ch, including PCM 2.0/5.1/7.1ch, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
• Firmware Updates: Both the TX and RX units are equipped with a Micro USB port for FW (firmware) updates.
• Compact and Durable Design: Features a compact size (80mm x 63mm x 15mm) with a sheet steel material and wall-mounting capability for professional installation.
• Locking Power Connector: Uses a locking DC 12V power connector for secure and reliable power attachment.
