Spectera - Sennheiser's New Flagship Wireless System
The future of wireless pro audio is here — and it’s bidirectional. Featuring up to 64 channels (32 in/32 out) in a single unit, Spectera is the world's first wideband, bidirectional digital wireless ecosystem, providing audio professionals with unparalleled capability and flexibility. Spectera’s 11 Audio Link modes give you unprecedented control of latency, audio quality and more for each link, while its bidirectional bodypacks manage both in-ear monitor and mic/line signals simultaneously.
The Sennheiser Spectera Base Station is a 1RU hardware device that provides up to 64 channels (32 in/32 out) and utilizes up to two wideband RF carriers to accommodate all wireless transmission of the system. It features redundant Dante and optional redundant MADI, assuring seamless integration into your audio network. Additional antennas can be added for redundancy, extended zone coverage, or additional spectrum capacity. The Spectera Base Station supports sample rates of 48 kHz and 96 kHz and features individual sample rate converters for all audio interfaces and wordclock I/O. Base Station must be activated with a License per region.
With Spectera LinkDesk Software, you get an intuitive workflow and unprecedented remote control and monitoring capabilities, plus visibility of IEM volume, latency, audio level and settings, RF health, battery status, and more. The software’s RF manager provides a continuous spectrum scan via Spectera’s innovative DAD antenna. Plus, LinkDesk’s assistive behaviors allow for quick and easy system management, and its production handling allow you to manage, store and recall multiple Base Station configurations instantly.
