Description
The Radial J33 combines a high quality turntable (phono) preamp with a DI box, providing consumer line-level outputs in addition to balanced mic-level outputs that allow you to connect a record player to pro audio equipment such as mixing consoles and recording interfaces.
The DI and balanced XLR mic-level outputs simplify the process of sampling or archiving vinyl in the studio, letting you connect directly to a mic preamp. Meanwhile the J33's line-level outputs mean that it can also be used as a home turntable preamp, connecting seamlessly with consumer hi-fi equipment. The J33 can also be used in a live performance environment, offering an improved interface for DJs to connect to a PA system.
Other helpful features include a built-in rumble filter to cut disruptive low frequencies, and option to power the unit via either the included power supply or 48V phantom power.
