The EAW NT116S is a compact, self-powered subwoofer that delivers outsized low-frequency performance in a flyable, tour-ready package. A high-excursion 16-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil provides 50% more air displacement than a 15-inch driver. Driven by 4000W of Class-D amplification, NT116S delivers 135dB Max SPL with extension to 25Hz, outperforming many larger-format subwoofers.
Designed for rapid deployment, NT116S provides multiple configuration options to meet the demands of any production. Using the optional rigging kit, NT116S can be flown within an NT206L array using the supported flybar and transition bar, or deployed as a standalone flown subwoofer array. For ground-stacked applications, integrated flybar locating pins provide safe operation at any splay angle, and a pole mount ensures maximum flexibility.
