The Earthworks DM20 Gen 2 tom and snare drum microphone features a small diaphragm capsule paired with a proprietary Class A amplifier circuit and can handle an impressive 150dB SPL (sound pressure level). This microphone delivers an incredible transient response with each hit, capturing the true character of each drum. Its massive rear rejection and consistent polar pattern across the entire frequency range minimize off-axis leakage, so you only hear what you want to hear and spend less time cleaning up tracks. The rugged integrated gooseneck allows for precise positioning and ensures the microphone stays in place and out of the way to capture your best drum sound. The included RM2 RimMount makes placement even easier and eliminates standard mic stands for a cleaner look with less clutter.
