The DVDO 4KSGA-1 is a compact 4K HDMI signal generator and analyzer designed to test HDMI compatibility for both source and display devices. It supports resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 at 18 Gbps. When acting as a signal generator, its HDMI output can connect to a display to produce various video resolutions and HDCP configurations, enabling verification of the display’s capabilities. As a display emulator, its HDMI input connects to a video source to analyze the incoming HDMI signal, including HDCP status and signal parameters such as 5V and TMDS. The device features a 4-pin DIP switch for selecting video resolution and HDCP mode in signal generator mode, along with LED indicators to display HDCP and signal status during display emulation.
