The DataVideo HDR-80 is a multi-channel ProRes recorder that allows you to record up to 4 channels of simultaneous HD ISO recording, or a 4K/UHD at 2160p in a single channel mode. It supports 10-bit 4:2:2 video processing and records onto dual SSD drives, ensuring sufficient storage for long recordings. When one drive fills up to capacity, recording automatically switches to the other drive.
One of the unique features of the HDR-80 is a 5" LCD touch screen for operating the recorder as well as monitoring the video sources. You can easily set up and configure record setting with a touch of your fingertip. The monitor also provides complete suite of scopes and calibration tools such as waveform, vector scope, and focus peaking.
The HDR-80 also supports closed captioning, time code, and tri-level sync; making it ideal for various live event productions.
