ClearSonic MMP - MiniMegaPac Drum Isolation Booth Package

The ClearSonic MMP MiniMegaPac is a complete drum isolation booth built for situations where controlling stage volume really matters. Measuring roughly 7 feet wide by 6.5 feet deep by 6.5 feet tall, it fully surrounds a four or five piece kit with 360 degrees of acrylic shielding, plus a top and interior absorption panels. Think of it as a smaller sibling to the full MegaPac (MP), designed for teams that want serious isolation without needing quite as much floor space.

This is one of the more comprehensive drum enclosure packages ClearSonic offers. It combines their clear acrylic panels (CSP) with 12-inch height extenders so drummers get an ample 6.5 feet of headroom, plus 130 square feet of Sorber sound absorption material and an SL7266 LidPac to close off the top. That combination is what allows the MMP to reach up to a 60 to 70 percent reduction in perceived drum volume, which is a meaningful difference in tight rooms and live-mixed environments.

Worship teams, theaters, recording studios, and school music programs tend to reach for a booth like this when a simple shield in front of the kit is not enough. By enclosing the drums on all sides and overhead, the MMP gives the sound engineer far more control over the mix, reduces bleed into vocal and instrument mics, and helps the front-of-house sound stay clean. A 6-inch clip-on fan is included to keep air moving inside the enclosure so the drummer stays comfortable during longer sessions and services.

The MMP uses an A2466x6 CSP in front and an A2466x5 CSP in the rear, connected on one side with HCNL H-channel and BASE channel. The opposite side is intentionally left unattached so one of the end panels can swing open and act as a door for easy entry and exit. It is also modular and expandable, so if your needs grow later you can add panels or absorption rather than starting over.

Compatibility Guidance

The MMP is a self-contained isolation system, so it does not require any specific brand of drums, microphones, or mixer to work. It is designed to fit around most standard four and five piece acoustic kits. Before ordering, measure your kit footprint including cymbal stands, throne, and any extra hardware to confirm everything fits comfortably within the roughly 7 ft by 6.5 ft interior.

Because the booth is modular, it can be expanded with additional ClearSonic CSP panels, height extenders, or Sorber absorption if your setup grows. If you already own ClearSonic components, they may integrate with this system, but panel models and channel hardware should be matched carefully.

Keep in mind that ceiling height in your room matters. With 6.5 feet of headroom and the LidPac on top, you will want to confirm your stage or platform has enough clearance above the booth.
