Description

The ClearSonic IPI IsoPac I is a complete vocal isolation booth package built for spaces where you need to control sound without constructing a permanent room. It pairs ClearSonic's clear panel walls with SORBER absorption panels and a lid system to reduce both the sound coming in and the reflections inside. The result is a portable, freestanding booth that helps you capture cleaner voice recordings in offices, sanctuaries, schools, and shared workspaces.

This particular package is a popular choice for voice-over work, language translation, and interpretation. The booth is roomy enough to seat two people at a table, which makes it practical for setups where an interpreter and a second person need to work side by side, or where a single presenter wants space for a laptop and a microphone. The included 6-inch clip-on fan helps keep the interior comfortable during longer sessions, since enclosed booths can warm up quickly.

One of the things people appreciate about ClearSonic booths is how adaptable they are. Every panel has cable pass cut-outs at the bottom so you can route microphone and power cables cleanly without leaving gaps. If you find you need more sound absorption inside, you can add SORBER panels. If you need more room, additional CSP panels can expand the booth's footprint. This flexibility makes the IsoPac I a smart long-term purchase for teams whose needs may grow.

The IsoPac I measures 6 feet wide, 5 feet deep, and 5.5 feet high. It is designed to reduce sound rather than fully soundproof a space, so it works best as part of a thoughtful recording setup rather than a replacement for a professionally built studio. For churches producing sermon audio, schools recording language lessons, and businesses handling interpretation or narration, it offers a real improvement over recording in an open room.

Setup Tips

  • Plan your footprint first: Measure your room before assembly. The booth needs a 6 foot by 5 foot floor area plus a little clearance to walk around and access cables.
  • Use the cable pass cut-outs: Route your microphone and power cables through the built-in cut-outs at the bottom of the panels. This keeps the panels sealed and avoids gaps that let sound leak.
  • Add SORBER panels for a drier sound: If your recordings still sound a little live or echoey, additional SORBER panels inside the booth will absorb more reflections and tighten up the audio.
  • Keep the fan running during long sessions: The included clip-on fan helps manage heat buildup. Position it so it cools the space without blowing directly across your microphone, which can add noise.
  • Mind your microphone placement: Position the mic slightly off-axis from reflective surfaces and use a pop filter for spoken-word recording to get the cleanest results.

If you need help setting up or troubleshooting your system, GearTechs can help. Our team has real-world experience supporting churches, schools, businesses, and production environments.
