Description

The ClearSonic IPE - IsoPac E is a full-size vocal isolation booth built for studios, houses of worship, and production teams that need reliable sound control without building a permanent room. It gives you a clean, contained recording space that combines see-through acrylic panels with absorptive baffles, so you can capture vocals and acoustic sources with far less room reflection and bleed.

This package is roomy enough to hold up to three people at once, which makes it useful for group vocal sessions, background singers, or a single vocalist who wants space to move and breathe. It also works well for isolating guitars, brass, woodwinds, and other acoustic instruments during tracking. Because the panels are clear, performers keep visual contact with engineers, other musicians, and cue signals, which helps sessions run smoothly.

The IsoPac E includes a lid and a fan. The lid helps close off the top of the booth for better isolation, and the fan keeps air moving so the enclosed space stays comfortable during longer sessions. Twelve S2224 SORBER baffles ship with the package and attach anywhere on the acrylic using the included Velcro strips, so you can tune the amount of absorption to your voice, your instrument, and your room.

Setup Tips

  • Plan your floor space first: Measure your room before ordering. The IsoPac E needs roughly a 6 by 6 foot footprint and 6.5 feet of height, so confirm ceiling and clearance before assembly.
  • Position the SORBER baffles for your source: The twelve S2224 baffles attach with Velcro and can move anywhere on the acrylic. Start with panels behind and to the sides of the performer, then adjust based on how the recording sounds.
  • Use the lid and fan together: The lid improves top-end isolation, and the fan keeps the enclosed booth comfortable during longer takes. Turn the fan off briefly during quiet passages if you hear it in the mic.
  • Mind cable routing: Run your mic and headphone cables cleanly out one side so panels sit flush and the booth stays sealed as well as possible.
  • Treat the room too when possible: An isolation booth reduces reflections and bleed, but pairing it with basic room treatment gives you the cleanest results.
