Description

The ClearSonic IPC IsoPac C is a complete starter drum isolation booth built for teams that need to bring runaway drum volume under control without buying a full enclosure all at once. It surrounds the kit with a clear acrylic shield in the front and dense SORBER absorption baffles around the back, so you get both a physical sound barrier and real acoustic absorption in one package. The finished footprint measures about 6 feet wide by 7 feet deep and stands roughly 5.5 feet tall.

This package is a favorite for worship teams, houses of worship, schools, and recording spaces where drums tend to overpower the rest of the mix. The front acrylic panels let the drummer stay visually connected to the room and the band, while the SORBER panels behind and around the kit soak up reflections and cut down on the sound bleeding into nearby microphones. The result is a lower, more controllable stage volume that gives your sound tech a much easier job at the console.

The IsoPac C uses an A2466x5 five-panel acrylic drum shield, five S2224 SORBER baffles across the front lower section, and three S2466x2 free-standing SORBER baffles around the rear. Because the top is left open with no lid, some sound will still escape upward into the room. That is actually helpful for drummers who feel too boxed in, but it means overall isolation depends heavily on your room. In a space with a lower ceiling and some acoustic treatment, the IsoPac C performs noticeably better than in a large room full of hard, reflective surfaces. In every setting though, it will bring stage volume down to a more moderate level.

One of the biggest reasons people choose ClearSonic is that the system is modular. If your needs grow, the IsoPac C can be upgraded into an IsoPac B or A by adding height extenders, additional SORBER panels, a SORBER lid, and other parts.
