Description
The BirdDog XL Ultra 4K60 PTZ Dual Camera features a massive 4/3" CMOS sensor - the kind found in professional digital cameras. Combined with a 20x optical zoom lens, it delivers stunning depth of field, sharp clarity, and incredible low-light performance.
The XL includes a second built-in 100° panoramic camera powered by a 1/1.8" sensor that's larger than what many PTZs use as their main sensor. Both cameras shoot in 4K60, are independently controllable, and can output at the same time. Use NDI for both, or separate SRT, RTSP, RTMP, HDMI, or 3G-SDI for the wide shot.
AI tracking is powered by a neural processor that frames subjects naturally, moving with human-like precision. Premium motors and a next-gen thermal system keep motion whisper-smooth and nearly silent, so all the drama stays in front of the camera, not behind it.
Connectivity is uncompromising: 12G-SDI, HDMI, SFP+ fiber, PoE++, and balanced XLR audio, plus simultaneous Full NDI and NDI HX3. Dual streaming lets you send NDI alongside SRT, RTMP, or RTSP, so you’re ready for any workflow — broadcast, AV, XR, or virtual production.
With signature BirdDog touches like Halo Tally with RGB customization, dual side e-ink displays, and a rear numbering tally system, XL Ultra is built for premium broadcast, XR, studios, and live productions.
