The 33 mm condenser capsule features a precision-tensioned diaphragm crafted from a specially treated, heat-resistant film with gold coating extending evenly to the diaphragm’s edges. This design provides a 25% larger effective diaphragm area compared to typical large-diaphragm microphones, enhancing sensitivity and detail.
Protected by a double-woven steel mesh grille that reduces acoustic reflections and diffraction, the A231 ensures transparent sound reproduction.
