The Audix A133 is a premium large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone tailored for vocals, choir, piano, acoustic instruments, and overhead applications. Its sleek, compact design makes it an excellent choice for podcasting, studio recording, live performances, and professional audio production.
Built with a precision-machined aluminum body, the A133 houses a 33 mm fixed-charge capsule with a gold-sputtered diaphragm, delivering a wide and natural frequency response. Its cardioid polar pattern accurately captures sound from the front while minimizing unwanted noise from the sides and rear, ensuring clarity and focus in any setting.
The A133 features a dual-layer steel mesh grille with ultra-thin acoustic foam for effective pop filtering—ideal for speech and vocal use. Inside, the capsule’s open-air mounting system promotes transparent, uncolored audio reproduction. Proprietary impedance control enhances consistency and performance across various environments, while an internal shock mount isolates the capsule from handling noise and vibrations, removing the need for an external shock mount.
A switchable 10 dB pad and bass roll-off give the A133 added versatility, making it adaptable to loud sources and low-frequency-heavy environments. Designed for both studio and stage, it comes packaged in a durable zippered carrying case.
Note: Requires 48–52V phantom power. For optimal performance, use with a high-quality mic preamp and professional-grade microphone cable.
