Flexible Rack Integration
The RackWell accommodates a wide range of vertically mounted digital rack equipment—regardless of depth—within the stage floor. The area beneath the internal rack rails is fully open for ventilation and cable clearance. For added protection, an optional enclosure kit is available to encapsulate the under-floor section. The total internal capacity is 5 RU (rack units).
Top-Mount Bracket & Equipment Support
A top-mounted bracket system supports equipment installations up to 5 RU. Common configurations using 2 or 3 RU devices leave room for additional patch panels or rack-mounted accessories inside the recessed pocket.
Optimized for Connectivity & Access
Fixed and recessed rack rails allow for up to 4 inches of connector clearance with the lid closed. Dual hinged cable exits on each end of the lid pivot downward to route multiple cables, or snap flush to fully seal the pocket. A magnetic neoprene dust cover shields I/O ports when not in use.
Rugged Construction
Built to withstand the rigors of live performance environments, the RackWell features a 10-gauge steel lid and flange assembly and a 16-gauge welded pocket body. This design ensures strength, durability, and resistance to bending under heavy stage loads.
Straightforward Installation
The 10.25" wide underfloor skirt fits securely between standard stage floor joists. For cross-frame installations, additional structural support may be required to meet floor load specifications. The mounting flange includes 2–4 screw holes per side for secure anchoring. Spring-loaded hinge pins allow the lid to close flush onto rubber lid stops, reducing vibration and eliminating rattle during performances.
