THOR Hammer SE-9 Headset Microphone, Omnidirectional Condenser

These have quickly become our "standard issue equipment" across all of our church campuses. They're not always the very best sounding mic, but they never sound bad, they're much less prone to feedback, and aren't particularly sensitive to placement location on the face.

In short, they're the mic we throw on people when we just need it to work, and it always delivers.

Now if only they could figure out a case that allows the mic to be stored without disassembly or bending...

Sound wise it's a great headset. It's the second I've purchased for that reason. However it's really a single earpiece design that can be adapted into a headset. It's just a pity the way the single earpiece connects to the headset wasn't a bit more refined.
Surprised Thor haven't realised a mark 2 version or a straight up two version.

The Thor SE-11 is longer, but this version is about 1" shorter and that prevents the capsule from being in front of the lips. No more breath pops and "S's". The Thor mics sound so good!
