Working great

Ordered this to replace some old/failing Audio Technica headsets. Just used it in production for the first time and it was fantastic. Definitely a nice upgrade. Strong, clear and consistent. Compared to the previous mic, we got more sound at lower gains, resulting in a stronger signal with less feedback. Mic seems pretty hot around 1k, but a narrow scoop there had it sounding very natural. And the around-the-head, dual-ear design is fantastic. Presenter reported that it was very comfortable, and the mic placement didn't budge for the entire event, giving us a perfectly stable source. We're very pleased!

Good microphone - too short over the headset adapter

Microphone woks well. Great quality. The headset adapter is too short forcing us to use the microphone on a single ear which makes it not as stable. Hope Thor will send a longer one for those who purchased the microphone.

As you and I discussed, we've been told that Thor has plans for a longer headband adapter (approx. 1' longer) at some point later this year, but it's not available at this time. Great Mic at a great price!

We were searching for a good mic for our pastor to use. We had previously been using a much more expensive mic and didn't care for the sound, found it to be flimsy, and the pastor didn't care for the way the mic fit.

We had heard a lot of good things about the Thor Hammer and at almost a 3rd of the price of the mic we were using, I was a little skeptical. The mic came very quick and in a really nice pelican style case. Immediately after taking it out, the build quality felt way more sturdy than our previous mic. Our pastor got to try it out and noted that it felt like he wasn't wearing a mic at all and agreed that the build quality felt way more sturdy.

When we got to soundcheck with it, I was blown away but how much louder I could get it before it started to feedback and the amount of EQ needed was way less than our current mic and still sounded better. Even the pastor could notice the difference in the way it sounded from the pulpit. Overall this is an excellent mic and we are so excited to start using it on Sunday mornings!
