As another of our favorite in the "bag of tricks" category, the RapcoHorizon TDI Blox consumer-to-pro interface is something that you can't afford to be without. It converts any stereo RCA output from tape decks, CD players, VCRs, or DVDs into a single channel balanced mic level signal for use with mixing consoles. Sometimes, you have just one XLR channel and a stereo line level device. All of the cable adapters in the world won't allow you to make the transition with proper output level and phasing. Make sure that you have a TDI Blox or its big brother TDI-100 in your arsenal.
