The DataVideo HDR-1 is a standalone H.264 USB recorder and player that allows you to record and playback MP4 (H.264) video files without a PC. It's equipped with one HDMI input and one HDMI output. Connect an HDMI display and use the front-panel controls or software control via RS-232 to navigate files and control playback. RS-232 and GPI can also control recording start/stop with separately available hardware as part of a larger A/V setup. Thanks to its small footprint, the HDR-1 is convenient for both field and studio recording.
H.264 + AAC in 1080p
Using H.264 and AAC compression, the HDR-1 records video files in 1080p which are instantly ready to upload to your website or social media outlets, such as Facebook, Youtube, and more. Simply record your show, then connect your USB drive to a computer, and start uploading.
Various Interfaces
One major advantage of the HDR-1 is its ability to use it independently of a PC by simply connecting it to an HDMI video source. The HDR-1 records from a range of devices, including HDMI digital camcorder and camera, IP cam, game console, PC Game (720p recommended) and etc. The HDR-1 definitely makes video recording and viewing easier.
Easy to Use Storage
The HDR-1 is compatible with most modern USB 3.0 file storage devices, including thumb drives, hard-disk drives, and portable SSD drives.
